Most people become managers because they were great at their last job — then get handed a team with no playbook. We're here to change that.

Vocation began with a simple observation: the difference between a struggling team and a thriving one almost always comes down to the manager — and yet new managers are given almost nothing to work with.

We've spent a decade studying what the very best managers actually do. Through research developed at Harvard Business School, we built a structured process that uncovers what truly drives each person at work: what motivates them, what gives them energy, what drains it, and what they're trying to accomplish.

Then we put that insight directly in the manager's hands — paired with an AI coach that understands their team — so anyone stepping into management can lead like someone who's been doing it brilliantly for years.
